Nije sve onako kako nam se cini
Živimo u uvjerenju da vidimo svijet kakav jest, iako je on mješavina objektivnog svijeta i subjektivne percepcije. Naše potencijale usmjeravaju upravo naša osobna vjerovanja.
Vjera je vrsta deluzije. Ništa čudno - naša svakodnevnica je neprestano, u većoj ili manjoj mjeri deiluzionistička.
Živimo u uvjerenju da vidimo svijet onakvim kakav jest, a ono što vidimo ustvari je sukreacija: mješavina objektivnog svijeta i naše subjektivne percepcije. Objektivnost i subjektivnost pritom nije moguće samo tako razdvojiti - to je poput simbioze moruzgve i raka samca - jedno bez drugog ne funkcionira.
U istočnjačkim religijama često se koristi naziv 'maja' ili kozmička iluzija. "Iako znamo da je sve oko nas iluzija...", započeo je svoje pitanje jedan novinar u razgovoru s Dalaj-lamom, ali tu ga je Dalaj-lama prekinuo rekavši: "Krenemo li od pretpostavke da živimo u svijetu koji je nestvaran nećemo daleko stići."
Razmišljanje o stvarnosti kao o iluziji donosi neku vrstu rasterećenja: "Ok, život je i tako samo neka vrsta sna", ali pri tom se čovjek vrlo lako može dovesti u opasnost da zamišlja čitav fizički svijet kao jednu vrstu vlastite projekcije. Film se zove stvarnost, a redatelj, scenarist i glumac su ja, ja i ja.
Takva, egocentrična perspektiva dovodi do dehumanizacije jer se druge ljude ne shvaća ravnopravnima, odnosno jednako stvarnima. Suosjećanje i pažnja postaju doživljaji drugog reda, jer je sva moć centrirana u osobnom božanstvu zvanom 'ja'.
Dopuštajući svijetu u kojem živimo jednaku dozu stvarnosti kao i sebi samima, u svojim svakodnevnim mini-deluzijama možemo osvijestiti uzorke koji nas zatvaraju u određena vjerovanja o sebi, svijetu i drugima.
Samoispunjavajuće proročanstvo je, na primjer, izraz koji, jednostavnije rečeno znači: "Ako vjeruješ da će se nešto dogoditi, povećavaš vjerojatnost da se to uistinu i dogodi."
Jedan od najpoznatijih primjera ovog fenomena je slučaj koji se dogodio u Chicagu. Tri čovjeka ostala su greškom zatvorena u kamionu-hladnjači.
Bili su obučeni u laganu ljetnu odjeću i znali su da će se u roku od tri sata smrznuti. Sljedećeg dana zaista su pronađeni smrznuti, ali ono što ih je ubilo nije bila hladnoća, već njihovo vjerovanje. Hladnjača uopće nije bila upaljena.
Samoispunjavajuće proročanstvo može usmjeriti naš život i k vrlo povoljnim ishodima. Ako smo uvjereni u uspješnost nekog poslovnog projekta, ponašat ćemo se i zračiti na način koji će zaista voditi k željenim rezultatima.
Slično je i s ostalim sustavima vjerovanja. Vjerovanje otvara, daje entuzijazam, a nerijetko i iscjeljuje. Ponekad je dovoljno da se čovjek 'prepusti' i kako bi se osjetio rasterećenim, slobodnim, iscijeljenim.
Tijekom života, jedna vjerovanja zamjenjuju druga. Bilo da je u pitanju astrologija, reinkarnacija ili neka novodobna religija, bitno je ne zaboraviti da je riječ o interpretacijama koje mogu dovesti do zanimljivih spoznaja, ali koje nisu konačna istina, već različiti načini vjerovanja. Generalno gledano, nije opasno imati vjerovanja, ali je opasno zatvoriti se za druga gledišta i postati zamrznuti vlasnik konačnih odgovora.
Jer i led se kad tad otopi, a put i uvjerenja moramo sami pronaci.
